| Airport | Location | Notes |
| Hollywood-Burbank | Burbank | A secondary airport, mostly catering to traffic in the state, located close to downtown Los Angeles. |
| John Wayne (Orange County) | Irvine | The main airport for the big Orange with connections throughout the southwest. The closest airport to Disneyland. |
| Lindbergh Field (San Diego) | San Diego | Though it is a scary ride between the skyscrapers, Lindbergh Field has the advantage of being located close to San Diego's downtown. It is also a good place for jumping off into Mexico. |
| Los Angeles (LAX) | Inglewood | The largest airport in California, one of two major hubs for international connections. |
| Oakland | Oakland | An often-overlooked airport with less traffic and nicer assistants than elsewhere. If you can't get into SF or Silicon Valley by the main routes, this terminal is only forty five minutes away. |
| Ontario (ONT) | Ontario | The second largest LA area airport. Serves West Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. |
| Palm Springs | Palm Springs | Located in the low desert of California. |
| Sacramento | Sacramento | The airport of the state capitol. |
| San Francisco | South San Francisco | Odors of sourdough bread and crab pervade the City's airport. Flights to and from this hub may be slightly more expensive than to Los Angeles. |
| San Jose | San Jose | The airport for Silicon Valley now has connections with Canada and a few other foreign countries. |
